How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

Care: These non-slip dog socks are machine washable, but line dry to avoid shrinkage.

Got these for my 13 year old German Shepherd to help her walk on floors not covered with small rugs. They are lightweight and she loved them. They don't stay on for very long but I had been using double sided non skid hospital socks with the self gripping tape(used in vet office) to keep them on. I did the same for these socks and it works! I'm using the pretty socks during the day and use the hospital socks at night. It would be great if the sock makers put non skid on both sides so when the socks move around their feet always have the non skid. Shiloh has some arthritis and pulled a muscle(now healing) in her back legs and these help her play with her 18 month old doggie niece(yes they really are related!) Dakota! Will buy again but will get XLarge to give her feet a little more room.

Footies slip off too easy, but I like the way they let my pup's feet bend.
