Usage |
Bravecto Plus Topical solution should be applied as directed by your veterinarian. This medication should be administered at every 8 week intervals, year-round to guarantee protection from heartworm and fleas and ticks. For cats over 27.5 lbs, use the appropriate combination of tubes to ensure complete protection against heartworm and fleas and ticks. Immediately before use, open the pouch and remove the tube. Hold the tube at the crimped end with the cap in the upright position (tip up). Leaving the cap on, turn it clockwise or counterclockwise one full turn. Do not remove the cap, the cap is designed to stay on the tube for dosing. Once the cap has been turned one full rotation the seal should break and it is ready for application. Always keep the tube in the upright position to prevent leaking. With the cat sitting or lying with its back horizontal, part the fur at the administration site. Place the tube vertically against the skin at the base of the skull of the cat. Squeeze the tube and gently apply the entire contents of tube directly to the skin at the base of the skull of the cat. Avoid applying an excessive amount of solution in any one spot which may cause some to run or drip off the cat. If a second spot is needed to avoid run off, then apply the second spot slightly behind the first spot. Do not contact or allow children to contact the application site until dry. Wash hands and contacted skin thoroughly with soap and water immediately after application. Missed Doses Give the dose as soon as you remember, unless it is time for the next dose. Do not double dose. If your cat has missed a dose please consult with your veterinarian. |
