The PetSafe Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness in Red and Black is designed to gently discourage dogs from pulling while walking on a leash.

Quick-snap buckle on both the shoulder and belly straps for easy on and off.

Sizing Information

Girth/Chest should be measured snugly around dog's rib cage, just behind the front legs. Chest width measures across the front of the chest to the intersection of the girth measurement. See the video below for detailed measuring instructions.

This is a Great Harness

This harness has changed our dog walking completely. The dog no longer lunges or pulls at all. This is the only harness I will ever use for our dogs!

Excellent for Walking any type of dog.

This harness was recommended by our dog trainer and since then I have purchased one for each of my 4 dogs because I love how well it works for all types of dog personalities. It is adjustable all over for a great fit and the loop in the front has a safety feature for a little tightening that keeps a dog from getting too far ahead of you and pulling. I have found my large 69 lb. dog can no longer knock me over when he tries to chase a truck going past us or other distraction he wants. I can walk him without fear of being pulled on the ground and we both enjoy the walk as this harness is kind to the dog as well. It is also great with my two dogs that escape from other harnesses and collars by wiggling, but can't with this one. Again now I am not afraid to walk them since I know they won't get loose and we all have a good and safe time. It is also gentle to my Senior dog. And none of the choking sounds other things can cause when dogs pull or get excited when walking. I highly recommend it!

The ABSOLUTE BEST WALKING HARNESS!!!

This was first recommended to us by a dog trainer and since then I have bought one for each dog = 4! All still look and work GREAT after years of daily use and machine washing. It is wonderful because it has the attachment in the front for the leash so a strong dog either large, medium or small dogs ... 1. The dog can't pull you off your feet when the UPS truck goes by. 2. The dog can't pull and cause the choking sound 3. Doesn't damage the dog's spine like other harness with the back leash attachment 4. A dog can't wiggle out of it and escape. 5. It is very adjustable for a growing dog or for a nice custom fit. 6. Excellent quality materials that last and last. I purchased one for my powerful 68lb. Aussie who gets very excited on walks, one for my elderly Border Collie because it is gentle on his body, one for each of my 2 Hoodini escape artist smaller dogs. I keep it attached to our leashes and only use it for dog walking. Occasionally check it hasn't loosened over time usage.

Great Harness

My big guy pulls a lot on the leash. I bought the size Large for my 85lbs Mastiff/Pitbull mix and it fits him perfectly. It really helps reduce the pulling.

Good quality

The quality of these harnesses is good. However, this harness didn't fit my dog properly no matter how I adjusted it. The front strap would always sag down in front of his legs. It would also chafe his armpits. My mom used these harnesses for her dogs and they worked fine for some extra control but she also had the sagging problem (although it wasn't as much of a problem because her dogs are taller). After reading about how these types of harnesses (straight strap across the shoulders) can alter a dog's movement, I won't use again on any other future dogs.
